• Extend personalized greetings to callers, or have their account information ready when you answer the phone.
• Choose which calls to answer now and which calls to return when you're ready.
• Elect not to answer the telephone when the display indicates the name and number of an individual you do not know or do not want to talk to.
• Verify callers you do business with.
• Keep a record of dates, times, frequency of important calls.

• When you receive a call, simply wait for the start of the second full ring and the name and number of the calling party will appear on your call display unit or telephone display.
  
  
• Caller ID Blocking "hides your name and/or phone number from the Caller ID displays of the numbers you call, so you can retain privacy when calling people. Choose from Per-Call or Per-Line blocking. The called party will see "Unknown Name, Unknown Number" on their Caller ID display.
  
  
• If you subscribe to Call Waiting, Caller ID on Call Waiting allows you to see who's "beeping in" and decide whether or not to answer the call.

Caller ID-Deluxe displays the name and telephone number of incoming calls. If you wish to see only the number of callers, please see Caller ID-Number.
