Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association

The Broadband Multimedia Marketing Association (BMMA) is an
international organization that enhances the business of service
providers and vendors in the broadband services industry and advances
the adoption and use of broadband services by identifying key industry
success factors and sharing best practice marketing and other industry
information.
Working together, the BMMA strives to grow the industry collectively
and create an environment that allows each company to compete for its
share of a larger overall market.
BMMA activities include:
- Face-to-Face Meetings: two annual face-to-face meetings (one in
the Spring and one in the Fall), which include deep dive roundtable
discussions on current issues relevant to broadband services marketing.
- Monthly Hot Topic Calls: on the fourth Tuesday of each month, we
meet via conference bridge to discuss 1-2 current hot topics in a
roundtable format, typically with a discussion leader. Past topics have
included broadband usage, Wi-Fi strategies, home networking, DOCSIS 3.0
update, DSL technologies update, customer contact strategies and
marketing to small and medium business (SMB)
- Reports: the BMMA publishes a semi-annual benchmarking report
(which includes DSL penetration, churn, and growth) and other impromptu
surveys for our membership (e.g., non-pay disconnects and churn survey,
tech support survey, AGM membership survey and more.) More information
is available at www.bmma.us.
