TDS employees sharing the holiday spirit
Our employees are really stepping it up and getting into the holiday spirit this year. We are teaming with many organizations across the country to make the holidays a little brighter, including:
- Volunteering as Guardian Angels for Porchlight
- Donating items to Toys for Tots, domestic abuse shelters and programs, humane societies, and senior living facilities
- Ringing bells for the Salvation Army
- Hosting blood drives and donating blood for the American Red Cross
- Contributing to local food pantries
- Delivering meals to shut-in and homebound residents
While our employees’ holiday efforts are impressive, helping organizations is a year-round initiative at TDS. A group of employees coordinates volunteer activities nearly every month. Many employees use paid time off to volunteer to help locally. They answer phones for phone-a-thons, help at local schools, and make meals for Ronald McDonald House residents.
TDS also supports the United Way in many regions including Dane County, Wis. and the greater Knoxville, Tenn. area pledging nearly $185,000 in support this year. TDS also makes contributions to non-profit organizations around the country. This year, our donations add up to more than $200,000. Click to see a list of some of the organizations we’ve supported.
Getting involved in the holiday spirit and throughout the year is simply part of our corporate culture. It’s one more way to connect with you—our customers and the communities we serve.
