For TDS Field Service Technicians, their trucks are their offices. In fact, we have more than 1,200 mobile offices, travelling across 30 states and hundreds of thousands of miles each year to serve customers like you.
While the trucks may get our techs to your home, they have not always been the easiest to work in. Until now, that is. We have been working with our technicians to understand how their mobile offices could be improved. Now, we’re upgrading our trucks to include:
- Significant interior retro fitting with pull-out drawers, shelving, ladder storage, electrical outlets, and tool-charging stations
- Improved interior lighting
- New strobe lights in the back of the trucks to improve safety during roadside work
- Better exterior signage
