Winds are blowing and temperatures are cooling down. Snow and ice are already wreaking havoc on many parts of the country—just one more weather challenge to add to the 2011 list. Already on the list: hurricanes, blizzards, tornadoes, earthquakes, and flooding.

Through it all, TDS landlines were connecting customers with worried friends and family—even when the power was out.

During each weather-related challenge, TDS technicians worked non-stop to keep the lines of communication open. Our employees got involved, too. After the April tornadoes, employees packed a moving truck full of donations—bottled water, food, clothing, and other necessities—to send to some of the hardest hit areas in Alabama.
