Home Networking is becoming more popular each day. That’s why TDS Telecom now includes Home Networking capability with all High-Speed Internet DSL packages. Enjoy using your DSL connection anywhere in your home for work, school or just playing around. All users can be online doing different things at the same time and at the same fast speed using the same connection.
Your DSL Modem/Gateway comes with Home Networking capability built into it, giving you the ability to share the high-speed connection with multiple computers. You have two ways to share:
Wired Connection: The DSL Modem/Gateway features four Ethernet ports that allow up to four separate computers to share your high speed Internet connection via a standard Ethernet cable. Each computer must have its own Network Interface Card (NIC) and Ethernet cable installed.
Wireless Connection: Wireless capability is built right into the gateway. Each computer connected through the wireless network must have its own wireless Network Interface Card (NIC) installed. Wireless NICs can be purchased from TDS Telecom.
