The simple, worry-free way to manage your incoming calls while online.

TDS Internet Call Manager (TDS ICM) is a service that lets you manage incoming phone calls while you're online. And it works with any ISP!

How does TDS ICM work?

When a call comes in while you're online, a TDS ICM alert window will pop-up on your screen and display the name, number, city and state of who's calling. You then have five call-handling options to manage the call:

  • Answer the call - This automatically ends the current Internet connection and answers the call on the same line. Answered calls are limited to five minutes. If the call lasts longer, it will be automatically disconnected.
  • Transfer the call - Transfers call to another number like teen's line or your cell phone. This does not interrupt the current Internet connection.
  • Send message - This option acknowledges the caller with one of five pre-recorded messages from the TDS ICM pop-up window. They include:
    • I'll call you back
    • Please call later
    • Try my cell
    • I don't know you
    • Block telemarketer
  • Take message - This sends the caller to TDS Voice Mail (or TDS ICM Web Voice Mail if they don't subscribe to TDS Voice Mail), where they can leave a message. The customer can access and listen to their Web voice mail messages whenever they're online.
  • Ignore the call - When this option is chosen, the caller will hear the phone ring, just as if no one is at home.
