Hot Line allows a phone to automatically dial a number you choose whenever the phone receiver is picked up. Simply open the phone line (this may require pushing a "talk" button if you have a cordless phone) and when the dialtone begins the number you assign to the Hot Line will be dialed. This service makes the phone "dedicated" to dialing a single phone number - therefore the line cannot be used for normal dialing.
