6-Way Calling allows you to add up to 5 people to your phone conversation, either by calling all parties right away or by adding additional parties to an established call.
- After reaching your first party, simply push your phone's switchhook or "flash" button. Dial the second party and push the switchhook (or flash button) a second time to connect yourself with both the first call and the second call. Repeat these processes until as many as six people are connected.
- Any party can hang up at any time and the remaining parties will stay connected.
Talk to 5 people at once and cut down on your total phone time.
- Plan a group event without making several calls.
- Give a few people good news at the same time to avoid hurt feelings.
- Reduce the need for callbacks.
- If the originator of a 6-way call hangs up, all parties are disconnected. If any of the "legs" of a 6-way call are long distance, applicable long distance charges will be billed to the originator of the 6-way call. Participants on a 6-way call can answer Call Waiting calls (with the exception of the originator and parties that have added other callers), however, the Call Waiting call cannot be connected to the 6-way call in progress.
- Pricing and availability are subject to change. Not all services available in all areas. Additional charges may apply. Please contact TDS Telecom with any questions.
