Call Waiting is a service that, while you are using the phone, signals you of a call coming in on that same phone line. You will hear a tone that continues at regular intervals until the call is answered or the caller hangs up.
- Prior to making a call, Call Waiting can be deactivated on a per-call basis simply by dialing a code. If you deactivate Call Waiting, incoming calls with hear a standard busy signal.
- You may deactivate Call Waiting on a per-call basis at any time during a call if you subscribe to 3-Way Calling.
Caller ID on Call Waiting is available for free to customers subscribing to both CAller ID and Call Waiting. The service is not available at all TDS TELECOM offices. Check with your local office for availability.
