- Donated the bandwidth for “Tailgating with the Troops” in Madison (Wis.)
- For the second year in a row, TDS is sponsoring the Business and Technology class at Kimberly High School (Wis.) offering students a chance to demonstrate how technology can help businesses succeed.
- TDS donated PC-based kiosks to the Fox Cities Children's Museum (Wis.) and four large cooling fans to the Walworth County Fairgrounds (Wis.) goat barn.

- TDS donates bandwidth worth $1.4 million to OSU Open Source Lab
- As part of the fifth annual Independence Day celebration, TDS teamed up with the St. Paul Saints (Minn.) to honor Women in the Military.

- TDS teamed up with Conquest Racing to sponsor the #34 car at the 2009 Indianapolis 500.
- TDS sponsored Art Cart in Dane County (Wis.)
- TDS sponsored lunch at a Children's Fishing Clinic, Esadore Lake, Wis. About 175 kids participated to learn about boating safety, casting, and various fishing equipment/tackle.
- TDS presented a “stolen-base” donation of $1,900 to the Western Wisconsin JDRF chapter. The donation represents the number of bases stolen by the Madison Mallards during the 2008 season (Wis.)
- TDS teamed with the Pittsville PTO to sponsor the Tom Pease Concert, raising funds to purchase additional school supplies (Wis.)
- TDS sponsored the Twin Cities Jazz Festival (Minn.)
- TDS helped purchase new scoreboards at the football field in Medford (Wis.)
- TDS made a donation to the Mosinee Community Athletic Association (Wis.)
- Employees in TDS’ offices in Janesville, Beloit and Rockford pitched in to purchase 75 tickets for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Rock County. BBBS Mentors will use the tickets to take their buddy's to a Beloit Snappers baseball game of their choosing.
- TDS employees team up in a walk for Breast Cancer Research sponsored by Waukesha Memorial/ProHealth Care (Wis.). The Team, Telecom Divas Struttin' for the Cure, raised more than $1,200.
- TDS receives Wisconsin Corporate Citizenship Award
- TDS donated 250 pounds of beef to food pantries in Mosinee, Medford, Neillsville, and Necedah (Wis.)
- As part of "Connect Ohio/Ohio Telecom Association Digital Day," and in support of Connect Ohio's No Child Left Offline initiative, TDS donated new computers to Arcadia and Vanlue Local Schools and the libraries in Brown County (Fayetteville-Perry Branch), Continental, and Oakwood.
- TDS teamed up with the University of Wisconsin-Madison to sponsor an economically disadvantaged and underserved high school students' travel to the Silicon Valley to participate in the Information Technology Academy and tour the area's major U.S. technology companies.
- With an $8,500 donation from TDS, new scoreboards have been installed in the Mosinee High School gym (Wis.).

- Vintage in the Valley 2009, a wine and cheese event hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley (Wis.)

- Fowler Memorial Free Dental Clinic, which serves children lacking access to dental care (Monroe, Wis.)

- TDS supports our troops through Operation Valentine in Monticello, Minn.
- TDS donates to the Mosinee Papermakers Hockey Fundraising Committee to help supply the men's team with new hockey sticks.
