TDS Remote PC Support

By entering a Remote PC Access Code below and clicking “Connect to Technician”, I agree to the following:

  1. In order for me to receive technical assistance with my computer (“the Service”) from TDS, I agree that TDS will have the ability to view all information and files on my computer. I understand that I should close all windows containing sensitive, private or confidential information before continuing.
  2. In order to provide me with the Service, TDS may perform various actions on my computer, including without limitation:
    • Remote control of my computer
    • Viewing my desktop, system information, and file information
    • Transferring, deleting, overwriting or copying files
    • Changing system settings
    • Rebooting and reconnecting
  3. I may discontinue the service at any time by clicking the “End” button. 
  4. IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO BACK UP ALL SOFTWARE AND DATA THAT IS STORED ON MY COMPUTER’S HARD DISK DRIVE(S) AS WELL AS ON ANY OTHER STORAGE DEVICES I MAY HAVE PRIOR TO THE PROVISION OF ANY SERVICES.  I AGREE THAT TDS SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE AT ANY TIME FOR ANY LOSS, ALTERATION OR CORRUPTION OF ANY SOFTWARE DATA OR FILES.  I AM ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT THE OPERATING SYSTEM AND OTHER PROGRAMS ON MY COMPUTER OR RELATED HARDWARE DEVICES ARE AUTHORIZED AND PROPERLY LICENSED, AND THAT ANY COMPUTERS AND RELATED HARDWARE DEVICES ARE FUNCTIONING PROPERLY AND FREE OF VIRUSES OR SPYWARE THAT MAY INTERFERE WITH THE SERVICE.  I AGREE THAT TDS SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS, LIABILITY, OR INABILITY TO PROVIDE THE SERVICE ARISING FROM ANY SUCH UNAUTHORIZED OR UNLICENSED SOFTWARE, OR ANY SUCH MALFUNCTION, VIRUS, OR SPYWARE.
  5. I agree that I am subject to the terms and conditions under the Terms of Service located at www.tds.net, which terms are included by reference as a part of this Agreement.
  6. I understand that TDS may record conversations and screen shots for training/coaching purposes.
  7. I understand that a $14.95 one-time PC cleanup fee will be charged with my Remote Security Package service on my first use of the service.
