Dancing 4 Kids "kickin' it" to raise funds

Tapping into society's interest in competitive dancing, the idea of pairing local celebrities with dance instructors to win dollar-value votes for favorite nonprofits is now a high-steppin' success.

In Appleton and Green Bay, Wis., the first Dancing 4 Kids events were held in January and February 2009. Local celebrities teamed up with area dance instructors to get footloose and fancy free, raising more than $4,000 for local non-profit organizations.

Dancing 4 Kids was created and organized by TDS employees Terry Taylor, Jeff Christie and Chad Mix. It's just one example of how TDS employees are getting involved in the communities we work in.

To encourage more employees to volunteer, TDS recently began offering employees paid time off to volunteer. If you need volunteers for upcoming events or ongoing activities, let us know.
